Tax-exempt status response request letter from the Internal Revenue Service

This letter gives official notice of the Foundation’s status as exempt, and described in sections 501(c)(3), 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Donors may deduct contributions to the Foundation as provided in section 170 of the Code. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers, and gifts to the Foundation are also deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes if the meet the applicable provisions of the sections of the Code mentioned in this letter.
