Thank you to our Forged From Honor: An Artifact Dedication Event Sponsors!

We are fortunate to have so many great organizations, from so many different industries, supporting the mission of The Honor Bell Foundation. These sponsors have provided logistical, in-kind, and monetary support to ensure that the Foundation can carry out its mission to create a community of veterans to foster public appreciation of military service and honor their fellow veterans with a proper, final tribute.

Our Forged From Honor Artifact Dedication Event will bring together military medals, dog tags, and other artifacts from a dozen deceased service members, which will be melted down and incorporated into The Honor Bell when it is cast in May. This will make the Bell truly "Forged From Honor." These artifacts represent conflicts from World War II through Operation Enduring Freedom, and come from all five branches of service. They represent a wide range of military experiences, from Medal of Honor recipients to reservists. This all-encompassing group symbolizes the Bell's mission to provide a final honor for all veterans.

These sponsors have come together to help make our artifact dedication event a success. Please join us in thanking them!

The Daniels Fund and the Honor Bell Foundation mark a milestone with a Big Check

Daniels Fund President and CEO Linda Childears and Foundation Executive Director Lou Olivera

Earlier this month, President and CEO of the Daniels Fund, Linda Childears, and the Honor Bell Foundation staff gathered in front of Bill Daniels’ military memorabilia to mark a milestone for the Honor Bell Foundation. Ms. Childears presented a check to Honor Bell Foundation Executive Director Louis Olivera, symbolizing the grant the Foundation received earlier in the year from the Daniels Fund. The Daniels Fund grant was a first for the Foundation and has served to shift the group’s activities into high gear.

"The support we have received from the Daniels Fund has been incredible,” said Mr. Olivera. “Not only have they invested in the Foundation’s mission with their generous grant, they have helped to catalyze our other fundraising efforts, and stand as a challenge to other grantors we are soliciting. They have also become great partners and continue to provide support in additional ways as we develop our programs.”

The Foundation is currently seeking additional grant opportunities as it moves forward with the casting of the Honor Bell, works with veterans on creating the Bell Honor Guard, and builds its board, among other activities.
