We met Major General (ret) Steve Best in 2015 and he has been an enthusiastic champion of our mission ever since. Steve recently retired, and we congratulate him on a distinguished career!

Honor Bell to Toll on First World War Remembrance Day

The Honor Bell carries on a long legacy of tolling in remembrance of those we have lost. Therefore, it’s only fitting that we will be a part of the centennial remembrance of the end of World War I. That day, November 11th, 1918, eventually became known by a name more familiar to many of us: Veterans Day. This year we will be tolling specifically in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the Great War a hundred years ago, and celebrate the sacrifice of all veterans.
